Country of Origin : Italy
LaCividina was founded in 1976 in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, in the North East of Italy. It is now a leading manufacturer of armchairs and sofas, working both as a contractor and for private customers. A quintessentially Italian approach is tangible in every design and flawlessly encapsulated in the products thanks to the carefully selected materials and finishes, as well as the tailored service for customers.
Mil
Mil is a coffee table made with prestigious materials and a simple construction concept. Four wooden parts interlock to form a solid, compact base for the round top, which can be made of wood, marble or glass.
Modo
Irregular-shaped poufs that can be used individually or grouped together to form a configuration.
Mrs buffy
Characterised by the elegant, embracing shapes of the headrest, this family of sofas and armchairs combines original design with craftsmanslike attention to detail in production.
Myplace
Myplace is a new concept in the seating world. In an original twist, the seats, which come both with and without armrests, can also be used as headrests that envelop the head to varying degrees. These options and the choice of three bases (sled, wooden swivel and metal swivel) can be combined to give a total of 18 different solutions, each with its own individual features.
Nautile
Nautile features fluid and harmonious lines. The apparent simplicity of its construction is the result of highly skilled craft workmanship and meticulous attention to detail.
Osaka
Designed in 1967 and developed in 1970 for the Osaka Expo, this system of modular sofas, with curvy, organic lines, allows infinite solutions to be created by combining and aligning the simple curved elements.
Phar Lap
Phar Lap is the lounge chair designed to bring comfort and protection to collective spaces, thanks to a slender structure inspired by the design of the seventies. The shaped backrest extends upwards to allow a distinct posture and, at the same time, shield the seat from the surrounding environment. The distinctive element of the seat is the elegant visible structure, which in this project is taken to the extreme with a result of solidity and refined geometry.
Pinch
Pinch sofas and armchairs have slender tubular metal frames that hold together the simple padded backrest and armrest pieces. Different heights and widths can be combined to create a number of solutions and compositions, all of which are cosy and inviting.
Scancaro
Both a piece of sculpture and a furnishing accessory, this creation, which combines art, design and craftsmanship, is suitable for a host of uses and interpretations, creating a unique composition wherever it is employed.
Stones
This series of modular elements of various sizes can either be used on their own as armchairs or sofas, or can be paired with other items to create compositions on any scale.
Suiseki
Suiseki is a collection of padded seats inspired – as its name suggests – by the Japanese art of arranging naturally occurring stones. Spontaneous, harmonious lack of alignment takes the place of geometric shapes in the simple modular units with organic volumes. Everything starts with three core building blocks: a low, broad seat, a backrest and an armrest. They can be combined with each other in an offset display of heights, widths and depths. The resulting sofas are sculpturesque and suitable for all types of use, in everything from the contract market to private homes.
